Can this attach to my JK's hardtop without using a roof rack? If so, how does it attach to the hardtop (does it bolt to it, strap to it some how)? I'm just trying to figure out how people don't fall out of the side hanging over the ground. Is the ladder the only thing holding up that side of the tent, or are their other support beams not picture here?

I have the defender rack for my Ford e-250...the HD style. I was wondering if this would fit and if the rack that I have will be able to handle the body weight of two adults being the capacity is somewhere around 150-200lbs rating.

Mentioned in the ad was a LED strip along with a cigarette outlet. Does that mean there is a harness coming out of the Tent that needs to get tied into the jeeps electrical?
